back to the year 1961 and since then has established its reputation as a
specialised publishing house and data content provider.
Foreign Trade
The foreign trade related
publications and projects contain professionally edited facts and information
for foreign traders. The focus lies on tariff and non-tariff regulations
of third countries as well as questions of origin and preferences.
Besides a solid portfolio of
foreign trade related publications and software, the publishing house
offers individual solutions for customer enquiries and carries out
researches for international companies or their consultants on a regular
basis.
For more than 10 years Mendel
Publishing House has been engaged as a data content provider for the
Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission and procures
data for interactive databases on international trade.
The internet portal
MendelOnline integrates foreign trade measures both
country and commodity related and interlinks this information. It allows
access to a data pool being unique in this quantity and quality.
The publishing house has its own
foreign trade editorial department and established a network of international
correspondents. It also looks back at a long-standing collaboration with
authors of reputation.
Emergency Medical Service
In the field of emergency medical
service Mendel Publishing House has been publishing the acknowledged standard work
"Handbuch des Rettungswesen" (Handbook on Emergency Medical
Service) for more than 30 years.
An interdisciplinary advisory
board with recognised professional competence assists and consults the
specialised editorial department of the publishing house with regard to
evolution and updating of the handbook. Since 2006 the publication is
also available on CD-ROM. This version also contains an archive of
former contents.
Besides the handbook Mendel
Publishing House edits further books and brochures on topics of emergency
medical service.
